BLMA #11 – Early Style Loco Cut Levers (1 pr) – N Scale Prototype History: Cut Levers (or ‘Cut Bars’) are used to vertically lift or pull the coupler pin on all rolling stock. Simply put, these long, horizontal levers give train crews the leverage needed to open or close a coupler. This style of Cut Lever is common on many EMD & GE diesel locomotives produced during and before the early-mid 1970’s. Model Description: Our Early Style Locomotive Cut Levers are machine bent out of .009″ wire. Sold as a pair, each package comes with chemically-etched mounting rings and a drill template.
