2.2 Product Availability

All products are subject to availability. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time. If a product becomes unavailable after you place an order, we will notify you and provide a refund for the unavailable items.

2.3 Specialized Components

Due to the specialized nature of certain components, the following items cannot be returned once opened:

• HO Scale Detail Parts
• HO Scale Laser Cut Kits
• HO Scale Couplers, Trucks, and Wheelsets

3. Orders and Payment

3.1 Order Process

When you place an order through our website, you are making an offer to purchase products subject to these Terms and Conditions. We reserve the right to accept or decline your order for any reason.

After placing an order, you will receive an order confirmation email. This email acknowledges that we have received your order but does not constitute acceptance. Acceptance occurs when we ship your order.

All payments are processed securely through our payment partners. We do not store your complete payment card details on our servers.

4. Shipping and Delivery

4.1 Order Processing

All orders are processed within 1-2 business days. Orders placed on weekends or holidays will be processed on the next business day.

4.2 Shipping Methods

We offer two shipping options:

• Standard Shipping: $12.95, delivered within 10-15 business days after shipping via DHL or FedEx
• Free Shipping: Available for orders over $50, delivered within 15-25 business days after shipping via EMS

4.3 Delivery Times

Delivery times are estimates and may vary depending on destination and customs processing. We are not responsible for delays caused by customs, weather, or other factors beyond our control.

4.4 Risk of Loss

All items purchased from Model Train Hub are made pursuant to a shipment contract. The risk of loss and title for such items pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier.

5. Returns and Exchanges

5.1 Return Policy

We accept returns and exchanges within 15 days of delivery. To be eligible for a return:

• Items must be in original condition with all packaging intact
• Items must include all documentation, parts, and accessories
• You must have your order number and receipt

5.2 Return Process

To initiate a return or exchange:

1. Contact our support team at [email protected] within 15 days of receiving your order
2. Include your order number and details about the item you wish to return
3. Wait for return authorization and instructions
4. Package items carefully in original packaging

5.3 Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned or exchanged:

• Opened detail parts and laser cut kits
• Opened couplers and wheelsets
• Custom orders or specially sourced items
• Items not in original condition, damaged, or missing components

5.4 Refunds

Refunds are processed within 7-10 business days after we receive and inspect your return. Refunds are issued to your original payment method. Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

5.5 Exchanges

For exchanges, follow the same return process and clearly indicate which product you’d like to exchange for. We’ll ship your replacement once we receive and process your return.

5.6 Damaged or Incorrect Items

If you receive damaged items or incorrect products, contact us immediately at [email protected]. Include photos of the damaged item or incorrect product. We’ll arrange for a replacement at no additional cost.
